Super meal and great service tonight in Going Greek Winchmore Hill N21 for our football team Christmas meal. Voted by all the players as the best gyros in the area !!!
Superb deserts too!!!
We use going greek very often as it’s a family favorite for take away. We always order the same thing and ticks the boxes for what we need. I have on some occasions dined in with friends and family and has not disappointed.
Great greet in service at the till. Staff were attentive and detailed with my order and the differences in kebab and sides.
Order came early, properly sealed and warned. Couldn't be happier with the service. Portion size is appropriate with price.
The overall place is clean, decorated with relevant decor to the food theme, really loving the vibe and atmosphere.
Really local to those in Winchmore Hill, Enfield, and Southgate.
Every time I am in Winchmore Hill I have to go to Going Greek. The greek sausage, (LOUKANIKA), sharer are some of the best sausages I have ever tasted. A defo must try!
My fav on the menu is the Lamb Gyros. The source in this gyros is INSANE!
Instead of chips, try their bulgur wheat. It is very flavoursome and not oily at all unlike some other places. It's a very good alternative to chips I find.
Their tarama tastes quite creamy and is not the best I have had, but I don't hate it.
Service isn't fast but it is well so worth the wait.
Where do I start... I haven't written a review in some time but after spending 3 hour at Going Greek, I had to write one. What a great place to eat. The food was absolutely amazing and the service just as good. Charlie really looked after us as a group of 5 and Sophia was absolutely brilliant running around making sure we had all that we needed. The food was so good. The pork kebab was probably the best I have ever eaten. The portions were big as well. We had starters, mains and dessert between us. All trying some of every dish. Not a bad word to say about any of them. Absolutely can't go wrong here. The atmosphere was buzzing and the take aways were flying out the door. Definitely coming back and the 4 other guys I was with all said the same. Take away or eat in, you won't be disappointed. Highly recommend Going Greek.
My partner, baby and myself came here last weekend as we were highlighted recommended this place for Greek food from Greek friends. Food was a absolutely delicious and service really friendly. Reasonable price and big portions. Can't wait to go back. Shame is far from where we leave, I wish they were closer or delivered to east London. Keep it up guys!!
First time of coming to Going Greek tonight and we were really impressed by the food. It was all fresh, warm and seasoned well. The cleanliness of the place was great and service was with a smile and quick.
Worst food I've eaten in a long time. Still annoyed I had to pay for food not fit for an animal. The kebab was burnt and not fresh despite it being lunchtime. I wasn't even given a bill. I was only given the price for the food which was very high for the awful lunch I had. The guy who served us was plain rude.
To the owner: look at the other reviews. Sort out your food before you have no customers left. The chips were good but I struggled to eat the lamb doner. We took it away and threw it in the bin. Wish I could get a refund and go to McDonalds
